WebJan 14, 2005 · I discovered that out of all of the FULL-SIZE 1971 GM cars, that the Buick Centurion is the ONLY 2-door model that had a higher MSRP than its 4-door twin. All other 4-door models are higher priced than their 2-door twin. If I recall correctly, according to that brochure, the base price for a 71' Centurion 2dr hdtp was $4400 and some odd dollars. The Buick Centurion is a full-size car built from the 1971 through 1973 model years. Replacing the Wildcat as the sporty iteration of Buick's three full-size car lines, it was positioned between the LeSabre and Electra in the lineup.
